"My career in electronics began in College, when I took my first job with Collins Radio Company (now Rockwell International), which involved the development of autopilot and sensor technologies for commercial and private aircraft. This led to a stint with Bendix Field Engineering Company, a NASA subcontractor, who put me to work designing space shuttle instrumentation and cockpit displays. From there, it was on to G.E. Medical Systems, where for three years I worked at developing test equipment for medical equipment and assisted in the development of MRI technology. Upon graduation from college, I went to work as a designer of microfilm equipment for a small company, then later as owner of a microfilm service and sales company.
"The enjoyment of playing to an audience eventually led me to begin a second career in post-secondary education; I bring my ten years of industry experience and eighteen years of teaching experience to the podium each day."
